Withernsea Fly-in 2003
With the kind permission
of Ken Wootton the fly-in took place, as usual, over the May holiday weekend, on 3rd - 5th May. The weather was variable with some bright sunshine and heavy showers. The famous
north wind blew! This never deters LMA members though and there was the usual
good turnout at this popular event.
A good variety of models were on show and some pictures taken over the weekend
by Richard Gale and Andrew Brown are shown below.
Starting off with a couple of general views of the site. You can clearly see the event is well attended.

Glen Masters has repainted his Beech.

The USAAF came along as usual.

As always, there is large variety of types of models on view.

The Ghost Squadron also always attend. The ME110 has now changed ownership and was flown by Tony Hooper.

A nice Chipmunk, I think to 25% scale, together with a Super Chipmunk
|

|
Andrew Brown's very nice glow engined B17 and an interesting Jet.

There was some fun flying too with a err wasp!

Ian Turney-White's latest project is a 50% Bulldog. What a great job he has done; flew well as well.
